Internet radio for Android Auto and Android phones
Keep your favorite online stations close at hand. WaveAA Radio 2.0 works on your phone and, when configured, through Android Auto audio.
Radio 2.0: more than a single station list
Instead of scrolling endlessly, browse a practical radio structure with Favorites, Recent, countries and genres. Search the Radio Browser station catalog to find a station that suits your trip.
Useful radio features
- Favorites: store stations locally so they can be revisited from the phone or car.
- Recent stations: access up to 50 recently played stations.
- Countries and genres: discover broadcasts across regions and styles.
- Failover: if a station stream fails, the app can try a different available source for the same station.
- Live/DVR buffer: available only when a supported stream and configuration allow it.
How to start
- Download and install WaveAA Music.
- Open the radio area on the phone and find a station.
- Mark frequently used stations as favorites.
- Optionally configure Android Auto Music integration to access the radio tree in your vehicle.
Does internet radio work offline?
Streaming radio normally needs connectivity. If you travel through areas with weak reception, use WaveAA's separate offline audio library for content you've saved in advance. Station availability and network streams can change independently of WaveAA.
Safer listening in the car
Prepare favorites before departure and operate media controls in line with local road rules and your car's restrictions. Do not interact with the phone or video while driving.
